Our Responsibility

X-cite/Alghanim Electronics ensures that goods purchased from us that require Delivery & Installation ( Click here to see list of goods not covered under D&I ) will be delivered within 24 hours of purchase.

We take responsibility for any defects/ complaints that you may have for up to 48 hours after delivery/ installation.

If you note a problem in the product delivered to you within 48 hours of installation please call the showroom/ call center from where you made the purchase for immediate corrective action.

For any product related issues after 48 hours of purchase, please call up the X-cite/Alghanim Electronics call center at 180-3535

 

Express Delivery

Need  a product delivered urgently? X-cite Express  delivers on time  every time. The Express delivery is a value added service that ensures delivery of your chosen product the same day that you have bought it subject to the below:

  1. An  Express Delivery Order  is made to a given delivery address.
  2. We deliver a maximum of 3 items in an order. If there are more than 3 items, the additional items would form part of the next Express Delivery Order.
  3. We accept the last order for Express Delivery  by 3:30 pm, deliveries start by 4:30 pm to 10 pm. Any pending orders after 10 pm are delivered  in the morning on the next working day ..
  4. The rates for Express Delivery Order  is as per table below

Delivery Address

Please ensure that you give the correct delivery address when printing the invoice, this will enable prompt and timely delivery to you and other customers.
Hence please ensure you provide the following information:

Change in Delivery Address

If there is a change in the delivery address after your invoice has been made, we cannot accept a direct phone instruction due to security reasons, please instruct the concerned showroom or our call center (180-3535) from where you have purchased the items quoting your invoice number to send us the required authorization.

 

Delivery Confirmation

We like to keep you informed of the status and time of your delivery. We contact you before scheduling delivery to provide you information on delivery timings . We put in our  best efforts to accommodate your preferred delivery timings and date. However, please note that such timings  are for indicative purposes. The actual time of delivery may vary  due  to various uncontrollable delays that may occur.

 

Customer’s Refusal to Accept the delivery

If for any reason, the customer refuses to accept the delivery and requires it on a date different than that mentioned on delivery note, there is an additional charge of KD 5/-  for the second visit by our team. The items would be delivered within the next two working days.

 

  1. Cancelling Invoice at the time of Delivery

Yes  you can cancel the invoice at the time of delivery, you would need to visit the showroom, , Pay KD 5/- towards service charge. The invoice will be cancelled subject to verification that the products is not defected or dented and is in a packed condition.

 

Delivery of items in Absence of customer

In absence of the customer at the time of delivery, items would be delivered to maid, servant or anybody present at given address only after taking phone call based authorization from the customer. Our delivery team would call  on the mobile phone number registered with us at the time of the sale. In case the customer does not answer our driver, the items will not be delivered and charges per item 8 above will be charged.

 

Deliveries to gated communities / compounds/ housing complexes

We will not deliver the items to such areas unless we receive an  e-mail from the authorized person with the gate pass if required . If the customer refuses to receive these items for any reason, we will charge him KD 45/-  per truck. For deliveries to housing complexes, camps, armed forces bases  and such the delivery will be done within 48 hours instead of 24 hours from the date of invoice.

 

Corporate / Bulk Deliveries

The terms and conditions mentioned above pertain to deliveries made to our retail customers. For delivery inquiries pertaining to corporate / bulk customers, please check with your relationship /sales officer

 

Postpone Deliveries

If at the time of purchase, you do not want the delivery with 24 hours of such purchase, please ensure that the showroom staff makes a note of the required delivery time and the required delivery date is recorded on your invoice. Such delayed deliveries are made at no extra cost.

 

Planning for your Delivery & Installation

Now that you have bought  that  appliance that you always wanted to buy, you now know that X-cite /Alghanim Electronics will come and install the equipment for you.  However planning for installing the equipment you have bought will save both of us a lot of time thus enabling us to serve you and other customers better.  Based on our experience in installing equipment across so many homes in Kuwait, we recommend the following general guidelines and specific guidelines too:

General Guidelines
  1. Check with sales person if you need to be prepared with any spare /component or accessory that is not available as part of the standard product you are buying
  2. Our  Delivery & Installation (D&I) team carry most spares, however it may be worthwhile to check if there are any specific reu
  3. Identify the location you want to set up the well in advance, make sure that there is a suitable power outlet close by.
  4. If in doubt , call our  contact center at 180-3535 and ask to be put through to an installation specialist or a product sales specialist in the category of the product you are buying.
Guidelines for Installation of Water Filter
    1. Plan the location in which you want to install the unit well in advance.
    2. A standard Water filter set comes with only one steel hose, if the customer requires an additional unit, the same can be purchased from our driver.
    3. Please note that the water point should be within one meter from the appliance.
Guidelines for Installation of Air Conditioners
    1. Plan the location in which you want to install the unit well in advance.
    2. The delivery team will not install air conditioners if the unit is to be located at height of more than 3.5 meters.
    3. When installing air conditioners, a wooden frame has to be placed around the air conditioner. This is to reduce the loss of  cooled air and provide for better insulation..This frame has to be provided by the customer. The dimensions of the frame are as below:

Re-Installation of Window Air Conditioners

    1. We will install Window AC's at no additional cost for the first time. This involves removing the  old AC and installing the new one.
    2. However if the customer wants to re- install the old AC in a different place within the same premises then we would charge KD 10/- extra.
    3. X-cite/Alghanim Electronics does not take any responsibility for any problems related to the existing air conditioning unit which may or may not have occurred as a part of reinstallation.
    4. The delivery team will not install air conditioners if the unit is to be located at height of more than 3.5 meters.

We will install  Plasma /LCD  TV’s/  Home Theater’s free of cost for the first time; This includes installation of the wall mounted bracket ( if you have bought one)however any reinstallation are charged extra as below

Exceptions to the 24 hour delivery rule

 

From Showroom to Customer ( 48 Hours delivery time)

These are products that are stocked in the showroom instead of the warehouse. This may also include the sale of display products. Such delivery requests are processed within 48 hours, The product will contain the accessories and product manuals In the unlikely event that the accessories and product manual are not available, we take extra care to inform you such that there is no misunderstanding at the time of delivery.

 

Express Delivery ( Less than 24 hours/same day)

 

Product Returns

If the customer wants to return goods purchased within 48 hours of delivery , then we can take them back subject to a check to verify if the item and the carton box is in a saleable condition. If the items are not in a saleable condition, then X-cite/Alghanim Electronics reserves all right to reject the request for withdrawal.
